CORONAVIRUS COMMUNICATION 07/22/2020
Hey team,
This is a reminder to continue to use safe practices in regards to COVID-19 to protect yourself and others. Dallas 1 recently had 2 positive cases in the field. We did contact tracing and notified all parties we know of that would be a primary contact and secondary contact. Fortunately, both crews wore face masks and practiced good sanitization and social distancing so we are hopeful that there was no transmission.
Mask usage policy – this is just a reminder that the mask usage policy is still in effect, this is for the protection of you and those around you.
- If you are in the office and at your desk, with a 6 foot distance from others you do not need to wear a mask or cloth face covering. If your desk is not in an area where a 6 foot distance from the next person is not possible, please let your supervisor know and we will do our best to make other accommodations for you.
- If you are traveling through the office (to the bathroom, kitchen, to speak to another person, please use a mask or cloth face covering to protect yourself and others.
- I you are in a meeting with others and cannot maintain a 6 foot distance between each person, you will need to wear a face covering or find other means to do the meeting. The area must be sanitized after the meeting.
- If you are traveling to a jobsite, vendor, supplier, etc. please wear a mask or cloth face covering, there are some sites that require them, please make sure to follow all jobsite specific procedures. If there are any questions regarding this, please contact John Woodaz.
- Any person entering the office will need to wear a mask or cloth face covering until they can be in a location that they can safely have a 6 foot distance from all others around them.
There are masks and cloth face coverings available at the office if you do not have one of your own. We know they are uncomfortable, but it’s been made clear on many government levels that they need to be worn when outside of your home and around others to protect everyone. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, please contact Kelly Azzarelli immediately.
Please remember that all other procedures are still in place.
- Get a daily temperature reading and complete the provided survey. The daily temperature checks are extremely important. Thermometers will be available in the office.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Follow all recommendations provided by the CDC here.
- If you, or someone in your household, exhibits COVID-19 related symptoms, please notify Kelly Azzarelli so that we may track any potential outbreaks within our company. All such personal information will be maintained confidentially.
Please contact the taskforce with any additional questions or concerns by sending an email to COVID19taskforce@d1cd.com. You can also speak with Shawn of James if you’d like to remain anonymous with your concerns.
Blessings,
The COVID-19 Task Force
